South African Branden Grace and Canadian Graham DeLaet share the early lead at the 2013 Honda Classic, as first round play continues throughout Thursday.
First round play for the 2013 Honda Classic is underway, at Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. -- and two unfamiliar faces find themselves atop the early leaderboard.
South African Branden Grace and Canadian Graham DeLaet lead the field, after shooting 65s in the first round -- good for 5-under par.
Five golfers, including Dustin Johnson, are just one shot off the pace at 4-under.
Tiger Woods entered the tournament as the favorite to win, but didn't shoot a great first round. Woods finished the day with a 70 -- good for even par. Woods is five shots behind Grace and DeLaet. Woods birdied holes No. 3 and 7, and bogied holes No. 10 and 13 -- both of which are par 4s.
Woods isn't the only superstar golfer to struggle on Thursday. Rory McIlroy, the world's No. 1 golfer, has struggled so far. Through his first seven holes, McIlroy is 1-over par.
