Before the Super Bowl, the Sandy Hook Chorus and Jennifer Hudson serenaded the crowd at the Superdome.
Before the kickoff to Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday, the live crowd and the television watching audience at home were treated to a special moment. The Sandy Hook Chorus teamed up with recording superstar Jennifer Hudson to sing a rendition of "America the Beautiful" on the field at the Superdome.
Sandy Hook Elementary School was of course the site of a tragic school shooting on Dec. 14. It was a nice gesture of the NFL and CBS to pay tribute to the victims and survivors of that devastating day. You can watch the full video of their performance below:
