J.R. Smith is known for his shooting ability and his ability to drive his coaches crazy. On this particular, uh, highlight, Smith only displays the latter. The shooting stroke isn't quite there, as he air-balls this free throw.
We typically only see big men shoot airballs on free throws. It's a pretty rare case where we see a sharp-shooting guard miss everything from the charity stripe.
While J.R. Smith's botched shot is pretty entertaining, it's really the reaction from the rest of the New York Knicks and coach Mike Woodson that makes this video so good.
