One squares off against two as the Saint Louis Billikens face the VCU Rams for the A-10 Championship.
The No. 1-seed Saint Louis Billikens and No. 2-seed VCU Rams square off for the A-10 Tournament crown Sunday afternoon. The two teams finished one and two in what proved to be a very competitive conference. The Billikens finished one game ahead of the Rams, who finished one game ahead of three teams for second place.
The Bilikens head in to Sunday's game coming off a 67-56 win over the No. 5-seed Butler Bulldogs. Dwayne Evans led Saint Louis with 24 points and 11 rebounds and three steals while Cody Ellis added 13 points off the bench. Meanwhile, the Rams punched their ticket to the finals with a 71-62 victory over the UMass Minutemen. The Rams had four players in double figures, led by Troy Daniels' 20 points.
The Billikens won the two teams' only regular season match up, beating the Rams by 16 in St. Louis last month. The Billikens come into Sunday's match up having won 15 of their last 16 games.
