Arnold Palmer Invitational 2013 odds: Tiger Woods the favorite to repeat

Sam Greenwood

It's Tiger and everyone else at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Woods will be seeking his eighth career win in the event this weekend.

Tiger Woods is the overwhelming favorite to grab his second straight Arnold Palmer Invitational title and his third win in five tournaments this season. Woods is back to his old self after a wire-to-wire win at the WGC Cadillac Championship, and that has bettors confident he can return to his past dominance. A win this weekend would match Woods' win total from all of 2012.

Phil Mickelson has the second-best odds at 16/1, coming nowhere near the 5/2 placed on Woods. Mickelson tied for third at the WGC Cadillac and posted a win at Waste Management Phoenix Open in February.

Current FedEx Cup points leader Brandt Snedeker is facing 18/1 odds. The Nashville, Tenn., native has had a consistently strong year, placing in the the three in four of five tournaments and winning at Pebble Beach.

Play is set to begin at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge on Thursday with coverage on the Golf Channel and NBC throughout the weekend.
