Guard Tim Hardaway Jr. averaged 14.8 points per game for the Wolverines, who finished the regular season fifth in the Big Ten standings.

Meanwhile the No. 13 South Dakota State Jackrabbits enter the NCAA Tournament on a four-game win streak, led by the nation's fourth-leading scorer Nate Wolters. The senior guard averaged 22.7 points per game this season, and is coming off a 27-point performance in the Jackrabbits Summit League championship game victory over North Dakota State.
