Michael Thompson felt some pressure from Geoff Ogilvy late on Sunday, but he held onto his lead and won the 2013 Honda Classic without any major drama. It's the first PGA Tour victory of Thompson's career.
Thompson carried a one-stroke lead into the par-5 18th, and a good chip from off the green put him in easy birdie range. It effectively locked up the tournament for him -- he only needed a par to win.
Ogilvy finished in second place at 7-under, followed by Luke Guthrie in third at 5-under.
Here's a glance at the final leaderboard:
1. Michael Thompson (-9)

Tiger Woods never was a factor in the final round -- he shot a 4-over 74 and finished the tournament in a tie for 37th place.
