WGC-Cadillac Championship 2013 odds: Tiger Woods is favored to win

Stuart Franklin

Tiger Woods is still viewed as the best golfer around, as he is favored at Doral Golf Resort.

Tiger Woods has been pegged as the favorite to win the 2013 WGC-Cadillac Championship. Woods has one win under his belt so far in 2013 at Torrey Pines, but has failed to break the top 30 since. Tiger is 9/1 to win.

Justin Rose was the 2012 champion, and he has been given 16/1 odds. That is third-best behind Woods and Charl Schwartzel, who is at 14/1.

Other notables include Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson at 20/1, Bubba Watson at 28/1, and Rickie Fowler at 33/1.

The WGC-Cadillac is a joint event and the prize money counts for both the PGA and European tours. The tournament gets started on Thursday and will be held at Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Doral, Fla. There is a total of $8.75 million in winnings available.

Invitations to the event are exclusive. The Top 50 in the world rankings are allowed to participate, along with the top 30 on the PGA Tour money lists, top 20 on the European, and top 3 on the Asian, Japan, Australasia, and Sunshine.
