Dirk Nowitzki shaves beard after Dallas Mavericks get to .500

The Dallas Mavericks made a pact to not shave until they reached a .500 record. The Mavs won on Sunday night and are now 40-40. Dirk Nowitzki shaved his beard immediately.

Personally, I really enjoyed the Dallas Mavericks' sub-.500 beards. Some of the guys really got into it. Dirk Nowitzki grew a pretty great beard. But the beard is gone now.

The Mavericks beat the Hornets on Sunday night to get back to .500 and now sit at 40-40 on the season. Once the game was over, Dirk shaved his beard immediately. And when I say immediately, I mean immediately.

By the time he got to the postgame interview, he was totally clean shaven.
