Monday night's NBA action started with Game 5 between the Bulls and Nets. After their epic triple-overtime game on Saturday, how could they possibly top that? Well, they didn't. The Nets won 110-91 and were able to extend the series and send it back to Chicago for a Game 6.
Losing a potential closeout game made Tom Thibodeau quite upset.
The Thunder had another injury scare when Kevin Durant crashed into the scorer's table and banged his wrist. Fortunately, he was able to to stay in the game.
Durant was able to recover in time for Carlos Delfino to dunk all over him. Durant probably thought it was just a bad nightmare.
Don't worry -- Kevin Durant got his revenge.
This game went right down to the wire, and the Thunder had a chance to tie it and go to overtime. But Serge Ibaka missed one of the easiest shots of his career. Therefore, the Rockets avoid the sweep and live to see another day.
