My how the time flies. It seems like only yesterday #goacc was just a crazy mistake of a fever dream manifested through life changes and stress. I thought it would go away in an instant, just run its course and disappear like most things I do. But it is a year old, and I couldn't be prouder.
It isn't really because of me, and that's the best part. It's because of all the wonderful people writing about, talking about and following college football and the ACC in general. People who understand the conference is what it is and can appreciate the humor in everyday sorrow and irony, tragedy and mishap.
#goacc belongs to everyone, and that's beautiful. It's not a stretch to say I am who I am today because of #goacc, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
So I bought a cake. And you should have seen how the cake person at the store looked at me. I wrote #goacc the way I always do, the way I did on my good friend's wedding guestbook, and she put it in all caps anyway.
Won't you celebrate with me by putting #goacc into your day today and sharing your favorite moments in its first crazy year of existence?
