2013 Preakness weather forecast: Mostly sunny with chance of showers

The forecast for this weekend's Preakness Stakes has greatly improved and is mostly dry for the second leg of the Triple Crown.

The forecast for this weekend's Preakness Stakes has greatly improved and is mostly dry for the second leg of the Triple Crown. Front will stall south of the Mason-Dixon line and clear out clouds to give mostly sunny skies for this afternoon. There is just a small chance of an isolated shower or storm Saturday afternoon but looks much drier than the Kentucky Derby.

FRIDAY - BLACK-EYE SUSAN WEATHER FORECAST:
Sunny to mostly sunny skies, with a light northerly wind and an afternoon high temperatures around 77.

SATURDAY - PREAKNESS STAKES WEATHER FORECAST:
Mix of sunshine and clouds for the afternoon on Saturday with just a slight chance of an isolated shower or storm. Mostly dry conditions, a little cooler than Friday with an afternoon temperatures around 73. Winds out of the southeast between 5 to 15 mph.
