The Pacers and Heat engaged in a pretty physical battle all night long. Shane Battier got things started when he accidentally landed a knee in Roy Hibbert's groin. Say it with me now: ouch.

The game only got more nasty from there. As usual, Tyler Hansbrough got into it with some opponents.

LeBron James made an incredible block on Roy Hibbert, but also seemed to hurt his finger on the play when he smacked the backboard. I hate when that happens to me.

But LeBron soon showed that pain could not stop him. At all.

Naturally, Pacers coach, Frank Vogel could really understand what was happening for much of the game. It was a pretty tight game and there was a lot riding on every single whistle.

But this one went down to the wire. Despite the Heat's best attempts to finish it with crazy alley-oops.

And despite the Pacers' best efforts, LeBron James was still LeBron James. The Miami Heat escaped with a Game 1 win in overtime on this awesome buzzer-beating layup.
