Harry How

If you're away from your TV when it's on, here's how to watch the 2013 Kentucky Oaks live online.

Before the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, we've got the Kentucky Oaks on Friday. But if you won't be around to catch the Oaks on your TV, you can still watch it online. The only legal way to watch the Oaks online is at, the online betting partner of the Kentucky Derby, at 5:45 p.m ET.

Dreaming of Julia was the runaway winner of the Grade 2 Gulfstream Park Oaks on March 30, and leads the field of 11 three-year-old fillies in the Oaks on Friday.

As noted by And Down The Stretch They Come, the horses entered in this race are Unlimited Budget (Fair Grounds Oaks winner), Beholder (Santa Anita Oaks winner), Close Hatches (Gazelle winner), Midnight Lucky (Sunland Oaks winner), Princess of Sylmar (Gazella runner-up), Pure Fun (Hollywood Starlet winner), Seaneen Girl (Golden Rod at Churchill winner), Silsita (Bourbonette Oaks at Turfway winner), and Rose to Gold (Fantasy and Honeybee winner.) will have the race in full, along with the Derby on Saturday, so be sure to sign up if you're away from your TV and want to watch an exciting couple minutes of racing.
