Notre Dame-Stanford leads Fox's 2013 college football schedule

Jonathan Daniel

100 games will air across Fox, Fox Sports 1 and other channels.

You've probably noticed that Fox has slowly made itself a bigger presence in the world of college football over the past few years. That is not an accident. From games on FX and FSN to the launching of a prime-time package on Fox, the network is finally getting into one of the few sports they had barely touched since Fox Sports began in 1993.

That evolution continues this year, as Fox launches its own cable sports network, Fox Sports 1. Between Fox and FS1, the networks will produce 69 FBS games this season, ending with the Big Ten Championship in December, and the Cotton Bowl in January. The evolution is likely not finished -- I'd be shocked if some games didn't move onto Fox Sports 2 whenever Fox gets around to launching it -- but this is as close as Fox has to what they wanted when they started picking up more football rights.

The following is Fox's college football schedule for 2013. Many of these games will be flexed in, but they'll all be home games of teams in the Big 12, Pac-12 and Conference USA:
