Turns out rest was better than rust for the San Antonio Spurs after their nine-day layoff as they took Game 1 of the 2013 NBA Finals by a score of 92-88 over the Miami Heat. The Heat, fresh off a grueling 7 game series vs the Pacers, came out looking flat from the jump as they fell behind by seven points after just two minutes.
