SB Nation's recap

Bolivia 1 - 1 Venezuela

Juan Arango scored to put Venezuela in the lead just before the hour mark, but the Bolivians scratched out a draw by virtue of Jhasmani Campos' 86th minute equalizer, a powerful header past goalkeeper Renny Vega off a corner kick.

Paraguay 1 - 2 Chile

Eduardo Vargas and Arturo Vidal both scored wonderful goals for Chile, who came into Paraguay and left with a win. Roque Santa Cruz made things a bit more interesting with an 87th minute goal to make it a one goal game, but the Chileans claimed all three points.

Peru 1 - 0 Ecuador

Claudio Pizarro scored the only goal for Peru, as they defended home ground and defeated Ecuador. This was a testy match, with seven yellow cards handed out between the two teams.
