The complete 2013-14 NBA national TV schedule

Alexander Tamargo

ABC, ESPN and TNT combine to televise 142 games this season. Here is a list of all of them.

The NBA has released its schedule for the 2013-14 season, with ABC, ESPN and TNT combining to air 142 games from late October until mid-April.

TNT gets first crack, as is customary, with a rematch of a second round playoff series from last season as the Bulls visit the Heat. Turner will also provide coverage of the Heat's ring ceremony and banner raising, commemorating their second consecutive NBA Championship. The doubleheader is capped off with the L.A. showdown, as the Lakers play "host" to the Clippers.

Other TNT highlights include: Dwight Howard visiting his beloved Los Angeles with his new team, the Houston Rockets (Nov. 7), the Brooklyn-New York showdowns (Dec. 5 and Apr. 15), the traditional Martin Luther King Day doubleheader (Jan. 20), and a rematch of the 2013 NBA Finals between the Spurs and Heat (Mar. 6). The Clippers, Lakers and Thunder all appear a maximum 10 times on TNT this upcoming season. The network televises 52 games overall.

ESPN launches its 75-game season on Friday, Nov. 1, with the Heat visiting KG, Paul Pierce and the Nets (still doesn't sound right). Their doubleheader also features the Western Conference Champion Spurs visiting the Lakers. The Bulls, Rockets, Lakers, Heat, Knicks and Thunder all make the maximum 10 appearances on the network. ESPN will, as has become recent tradition, surround ABC's Christmas doubleheader with three games of their own. The network also features the Nets first trip to Boston on Jan. 26.

One ESPN choice that's new this season: a Saturday night game on Feb. 1, with the Heat visiting the Knicks. For the astute sports calendar watcher, that would be the night before the Super Bowl, held in the New Jersey Meadowlands on Feb. 2. As if there wasn't enough going on that week.

ABC will air 15 games, 13 on Sunday afternoons following the Christmas doubleheader, which stars Knicks/Thunder and Heat/Lakers. The Heat and Knicks make a maximum six appearances, with the Lakers and Bulls showing up five times.
