The Colts could be without a starter on offense in Week 2. According to ESPN, Indianapolis tight end Dwayne Allen is doubtful for the Colts' matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday. Allen injured his hip during the Colts' Week 1 win over the Oakland Raiders.
Allen was initially listed as questionable against the Dolphins after skipping practice throughout the week. On Saturday, the team downgraded the second-year player to doubtful. Allen is a good blocker and a solid redzone target for Colts' quarterback Andrew Luck. Fellow tight end Coby Fleener will start the game while Jake Boyle and Dominique Jones will rotate in on two-tight end sets if Allen does not play. Allen caught a 20-yard touchdown pass in Week 1 against the Raiders.
Linebackers Kavell Conner (ankle), Erik Walden (hamstring) and Jarrell Freeman (quad) are all listed as questionable on the Colts' injury report. Wide receiver/kick returner David Reed will miss the game with a quad injury.
The Colts host the Dolphins at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
