Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh better think twice before handing out another questionable hit. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the next illegal hit that Suh dishes out will lead to a likely suspension. Suh was fined $100,000 following his low block on the Vikings' John Sullivan during Week 1's Detroit 34-24 win over Minnesota.
Suh hit Sullivan low during an interception return by DeAndre Levy, who picked off a pass from Christian Ponder. The return led to a touchdown that was called back because of Suh's low block. Replays showed that the block was unnecessary for the return to be successful as Levy was several yards ahead of the much slower Sullivan.
Suh has been fined six times in his four-year NFL career, since being draft second-overall in the 2010 draft. He also has notched 22 sacks in that span.
The Lions are on the road in Week 2 against the Cardinals in Arizona. The game will be broadcast live from University of Phoenix Stadium on FOX at 4:05 p.m. ET.
