The Miller Park Songbook: Appendix

Jeff Gross

A complete, batter-by-batter listing of all the music played at Miller Park during a single game this week.

Click here for a look at the Miller Park songbook as a whole.

This data was cataloged on September 2, 2013, at Miller Park. As I kept score, I also marked down every single musical choice that came out of the stadium speakers. A voice recorder was in the cup holder in front of me to capture any songs I might have missed. If I didn't recognize a song, I used the Shazam app on my phone (which does a really good job identifying songs based on a few seconds of music for most genres).

As I said before, I am not singling out the Brewers or complaining about their specific in-game music. I go to a dozen Brewers games a year and I've always enjoyed myself there. I just thought that this would be an interesting study and Miller Park happens to be the nearest major league stadium.

On to the details! (Click the notes  to be taken to a full version of the song.)
