1. Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Redskins

Details: Monday, September 9 @ 7:00 PM ET - Landover, MD

Watch Here: ESPN on XFINITY

Why Watch: Robert Griffin III's "operation patience" has paid off, as he's set to start week one against the Philadelphia Eagles. RG3 went 2-0 against the Eagles last season, but Philly has a new coach this season, Chip Kelly. Kelly’s debut is on the grandest of stages, Monday Night Football, and his read-option offense will step into the spotlight. Eagles' starting quarterback, Michael Vick, has the wheels and the arm to successfully run Kelly's new spread attack. This one will be about the quarterbacks, and is guaranteed to be an entertaining game to kickoff Monday Night Football's 2013 season!

2. Houston Texans vs. San Diego Chargers

Details: Monday, September 9 @ 10:15 PM ET - Qualcomm Stadium - San Diego, CA

Watch Here: ESPN on XFINITY

Why Watch: The final game of Monday Night Football's week one double-header will take place in San Diego. The Houston Texans will march into town and attempt to defeat the Chargers for the first time in franchise history! However, San Diego will be working hard to keep up their winning ways (4-0 all time vs the Texans). San Diego's new coach, Mike McCoy, has a new offensive scheme that he hopes will bring success to the Bolts. Houston has a dominant defense and will look to take the air out of the Charger supporters. Can Houston make history on the road Monday night, or will Mike McCoy's coaching debut be a success in San Diego?

#5ToFollow Insider: James Palmer - @JPalmerCSN

James Palmer is tweeting live from Qualcomm Stadium for Monday's second matchup of the NFL's week 1. Palmer will be shooting the bull all night, online as the Texans and Chargers kickoff on MNF.

3. Bolivia vs. Ecuador (World Cup Qualifier)

Details: Tuesday, September 10 @ 3:50 PM ET - Hernando Siles Stadium - La Paz, Bolivia

Watch Here: beIN Sport on XFINITY

Why Watch: Ecuador may lock up a spot in Brazil’s World Cup next spring with a win Tuesday afternoon against Bolivia, as they’re currently standing atop the CONMEBOL standings. But, Bolivia will look to spoil their attempts at tournament security, and with Ecuador’s recent poor performances on the road during qualifiers (0-3-2) it’s definitely possible that we’ll see an upset. Bolivia, a team in the lower third of the CONMEBOL Table, could take down the upper tier Ecuador, don’t miss Bolivia vs. Ecuador on Tuesday night!

4. Uruguay vs. Colombia (World Cup Qualifier)

Details: Tuesday, September 10 @ 5:50 PM ET - Hernando Siles Stadium - Montevideo, Uruguay

Watch Here: beIN Sport on XFINITY

Why Watch: Colombia is the heavy favorite heading into Tuesday’s match with Uruguay, but ultimately both clubs are fighting to keep World Cup contention alive. The last time these two met, it ended in a 4-0 victory for the Colombians, but don’t count Uruguay out of this one, as their only lose in their last five matches came against the Confeds Cup Champion - Brazil. With both team’s dreams of competing in Brazil hanging in the balance, this will surely be a game of passion and grit from both sides on Tuesday night.

5. United States vs. Mexico (World Cup Qualifier)

Details: Tuesday, September 10 @ 8:00 PM ET - Columbus Crew Stadium - Columbus, OH

Watch Here: ESPN on XFINITY

Why Watch: The United States Men's National Team looks to be in good standings Tuesday night, as they hold a 1-0-2 record vs. the Mexican National Team in their last three meetings. Team USA is close to qualifying for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and a win over Mexico could secure their spot in the tournament. This US team has a newfound success under coach Jurgen Klinsmann, but with recent injuries to Michael Bradley and Jozy Altidore, Tuesday’s match won’t be the guarantee many were touting. A lot rides on our boys in red, white, and blue, and ultimately their future rides on Tuesday’s match! Will they win to get in to the World Cup or could Mexico rain on the US's parade?
