Iraq played hard and got a great goalkeeping performance from Noor Sabri, but their defense was poor in Brazil's 6-0 victory.
Iraq are a decent team that should give Australia a tough match on Tuesday, but they were no match for Brazil in a neutral site match that was played in Sweden. The underdogs defended well in the first 20 minutes of the match, but once Neymar set up Oscar for the opener, the floodgates opened for a 6-0 Brazil win.
Neymar provided a brilliant through ball for Oscar's 22nd minute opener and was arguably the man of the match. He scored a goal of his own in the 75th minute, set up Lucas Moura in the 80th minute, and also had a serious hand in Oscar's 27th minute strike.
Kaka had the match's third goal in the 48th minute with a brilliant run and strike from a narrow angle. It was a triumphant return to the Brazil squad for the Real Madrid man, as he looked just as fast and fit as he did in his A.C. Milan days. Hulk also scored for Brazil, beating Noor Sabri in the 56th minute.
The score is harsh on Sabri, who actually had a brilliant game in net for Iraq. If it wasn't for him, the Brazilians could have easily scored 10-12 goals.
