Guyana vs. Mexico: Make that neutral site money!

Guyana decided to play Mexico in America to cash in big. It's probably a smart move.

Mexico is already going to the hexagonal round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying, while Guyana is very much resigned to their fate and knows that they will not be joining El Tri. Since their Friday match doesn't really matter, Guyana has decided to give their federation a nice infusion of cash by foregoing a home game to play Mexico in Houston. In front of 25,000 Mexico fans, during a 'home' game, they're going to get crushed.

However, they're going to have a couple of million dollars to spend on coaches, facilities, and community football programs that might give them a chance of making the hex in the future. Way to go, Guyana. Don't let anyone hate on you for getting money.

Even if you're an El Tri supporter, you're insane if you waste your time on this match. Of course, because I said that, Guyana will manage to open the scoring with a screamer.

Match date/time: Friday, 9 p.m. ET

Venue: BBVA Compass Stadium, Houston, United States

TV: Telemundo
