The Netherlands predictably romped over Andorra in a 3-0 win.
The Netherlands barely looked like they wanted to be on the pitch today. Luckily for them, they were playing Andorra so it didn't matter how disinterested they were. The Dutch got a pair of early goals then went to sleep before adding one more like to beat Andorra 3-0.
With the win, the Netherlands is now perfect through three matches of World Cup qualifying. Andorra are winless, with 12 goals against and none scored.
Rafael van der Vaart put the Netherlands in front after seven minutes and by the 15 minute mark it was 2-0 thanks to a Klaas-Jan Huntelaar strike. From that point on, the Dutch went to sleep.
The Netherlands knocked the ball around and dictated the match to poor Andorra, but never really showed any ambition and they didn't have to. They were in complete control and when Ruben Schaken added a third goal in the 50th minute, they really turned the lights off.
Next up for the Netherlands is a tough match at Romania on Tuesday, who also have a full nine points.
