Brazil vs. Japan: Lineups

Stay connected with SB Nation

Brazil and Japan have both made one change to their teams to face each other after their friendly wins on Friday. Japan's switch is a tactical one, while Brazil's was forced due to injury. Leandro Castan of Roma replaces Marcelo, who broke his ankle against Iraq, at left back as expected. Japan have benched striker Mike Havenaar in favor of Keisuke Honda, who is less of a true center forward. Honda did not play in Friday's 1-0 win over France.

Brazil starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Diego Alves; Leandro Castan, Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Adriano; Paulinho, Ramires; Oscar, Kaka, Hulk; Neymar

Japan starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Eiji Kawashima; Yuto Nagatomo, Yasuyuki Konno, Maya Yoshida, Hiroki Sakai; Yasuhito Endo, Makoto Hasebe; Hiroshi Kiyotake, Kengo Nakamura, Shinji Kagawa; Keisuke Honda

Kickoff is at 2:15 p.m. local time, 8:15 a.m. ET from Stadion Miejski in Wroclaw, Poland. The game can be seen on ESPN in the UK.
