The Superclásico de las Américas probably shouldn't be a big deal, but it is, so watch it.

The Superclásico de las Américas -- also known as the Doctor Nicolás Leoz Cup -- is just a glorified friendly. Brazil and Argentina get together their best domestic-based players and have them play a couple of games during a non-FIFA date, then call it a competition. It's not really a competition, but the coaches, fans and players take it seriously, and it's a good chance for the national team managers to get a look at some fringe players.

Of course, thanks to the recent rise of the Brasileirão and stabilization of the Argentine Primera, there are first team players in both squads. Maxi Rodríguez, Rodrigo Braña and Pablo Guiñazú are the regulars in the Argentina team for the match, while Brazil have Neymar, Leandro Damião, Lucas Moura and Dedé in their team.

In the first leg of the Superclásico, Brazil won 2-1 at home. The cup is determined by points, then goal difference. If the teams are tied on both, they will go to a penalty shootout to determine the winner.

Match Date/Time: 9:55 p.m. local, 8:55 p.m. ET

Venue: Estadio Centenario, Resistencia, Argentina

TV: beIN Sport (U.S.), ESPN (U.K.)
