Now things are getting serious in curling. The semifinal rounds for both the men and women teams take place on Wednesday, with the medals set to be handed out on Thursday and Friday.
The British men find themselves in the medal rounds after a memorable tiebreaker win over Norway on Tuesday. Following an intense back-and-forth over nine ends, an incredible final throw from David Murdoch gave his team two points in the last end and sent the Norwegians packing. Great Britain will try to recapture that magic when they face Sweden at 10 a.m. ET. Canada will take on China at the same time, looking to defend their Vancouver gold medal.
On the women's side, Great Britain plays Canada and Sweden faces Switzerland. Those matches begin at 5 a.m. The Chinese women, who stumbled to a disappointing seventh place in the round robin sessions, won't have a chance to repeat their bronze medal performance from Vancouver.
Here's the complete schedule for the day (all times ET):
10 a.m. - Great Britain vs. Sweden, Canada vs. China
5 a.m. - Great Britain vs. Canada, Sweden vs. Switzerland
