Elimination Chamber results: The Wyatt Family downs The Shield with Roman Reigns eating Sister Abigail

I bet you didn't have your money on Roman Reigns taking a pin.

In the battle for faction supremacy, The Wyatt Family are at least temporarily the most dominant group in WWE. They beat The Shield at Elimination Chamber at the end of a terrific match that the rest of the performers on the card are going to have trouble living up to.

If you've been mostly tuned out of WWE programming between the last WrestleMania and the Royal Rumble, you've missed a lot of brilliant work from these two factions, who have quickly risen to borderline main event level. All six of these wrestlers have long-term futures in WWE and the two stars -- Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns -- will probably main event WresleMania one day. Fans have been salivating just thinking about the possibility of this six-man tag team match since the Wyatt Family debuted, and the powers that be decided to give it to us.

The Wyatts and The Shield have had a tumultuous relationship since the former team's debut, but they finally started feuding with each other when the Wyatts interfered in The Shield's Elimination Chamber qualifying match, leading Daniel Bryan, John Cena and Sheamus to qualify for the title match. They've had a couple of excellent standoffs since, culminating in a massive brawl on Raw between these six performers and the six Chamber participants.

Unsurprisingly, the match was as perfectly paced as a wrestling match can be. Seth Rollins had numerous big spots, including a dive through the ropes and a flip over the top rope to take out Luke Harper on both occasions. Late in the match, Wyatt and Dean Ambrose took their fight into the crowd, which led to Wyatt coming back with Ambrose nowhere to be seen.

Rollins, who has established himself as the company's craziest performer in the last year, ate all off the Spanish announce table after Harper and Erick Rowan threw him up in the air from the English announce table. That left just Reigns to fight all three members of the Wyatts by himself.

Bray set up Reigns for the Sister Abigail, but he powered out and hit the leader of the family with a Samoan drop. Your favorite cult leader's reaction was perfect.

Wyatteyes

Reigns cleaned out the whole family with Superman punches, but eventually fell to the numbers game. Harper jumped in front of Bray to eat a spear for his leader, which was enough of a distraction for Wyatt to lock in and finally hit Sister Abigail before getting the pin.
