How to watch Winter Olympics 2014 online, TV schedule and more

Medals are on the line on and U.S. viewers will have a chance to see their first events from Sochi live.

SB Nation 2014 Olympics Preview

The first fully stacked day of competition at Sochi begins on Saturday with 16 events taking place across nine sports. It also represents the first chance U.S. viewers will have to see some events live, making this a premier day.

Five medals will be decided on Saturday: the Men's Sprint 10 km in the Biathlon, Ladies' Skiathlon 7.5 km Classic + 7.5 km free in Cross-Country, the Men's Slopestyle Finals in Snowboard, Ladies' Moguls in Freestyle Skiing and the Men's 5000 m in Speed Skating.

Here's the full schedule for Saturday in Sochi, including TV information in the USA. Every event will be available for online streaming, live at NBCOlympics.com.

Snowboard

12:30 a.m. - Men's Slopestyle Semifinals

3:45 a.m. - Men's Slopestyle Finals

TV: NBC will begin its coverage of Slopestyle at 8 p.m. ET

Ice Hockey

3 a.m. ET - Women's Prelim. Round - Group A (USA vs. FIN)

8 a.m. ET - Women's Prelim. Round - Group A (CAN vs. SUI)

TV: Team USA will play live on NBC Sports Network at 3 a.m. ET and MSNBC will show Canada vs. Switzerland at 8 a.m. ET.

Cross-Country

5 a.m. ET - Ladies' Skiathlon 7.5 km Classic + 7.5 km Free

TV: NBC Sports Network begins its Cross-Country coverage at 5:30 a.m. ET

Speed Skating

6:30 a.m. ET - Men's 5000 m

TV: NBC will begin its Speed Skating coverage at 2:30 p.m. ET

Freestyle Skiing

9 a.m. ET - Ladies' Moguls Qualification 2

1 p.m. ET - Ladies' Moguls Final 1

1:35 p.m. ET - Ladies' Moguls Final 2

TV: NBC will begin its coverage of the Moguls Finals at 8 p.m. ET

Biathlon

9:30 a.m. ET - Men's Sprint 10 km

Figure Skating

9:30 a.m. ET - Team Ice Dance Short Dance

11:10 a.m. ET - Team Ladies Short Program

1:05 p.m. ET - Team Pairs Free Skating

TV: NBC Sports Network begins its Figure Skating coverage at 9:30 a.m. ET

Luge

9:30 a.m. ET - Men's Singles Run 1

11:40 a.m. ET - Men's Singles Run 2

TV: NBC will begin its Luge coverage at 12 a.m. ET on Sunday.

Ski Jumping

11:30 a.m. ET - Men's Normal Hill Qualification Round

TV: NBC will begin its Ski Jumping coverage at 2:30 p.m. ET.
