Pacquiao vs. Bradley 2 odds: Pacquiao favored to avenge loss

Kevork Djansezian

Manny Pacquiao is the favorite to win the rematch with Timothy Bradley, but the odds are much closer for the rematch than they were for the first meeting.

When Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley step into the ring tomorrow night on HBO pay-per-view, it will be Pacquiao who is the favorite to come out on top.

The two men first fought in June of 2012 in a competitive affair that the vast majority of viewers saw as a clear win for Pacquiao. Despite the seeming clear deserved win for Pacquiao, two of the judges found a way to score the bout for Bradley.

The controversy of the first fight has not changed the favorite in the eyes of the oddsmakers as Pacquiao currently sits at -230 at Bovada, while Bradley is at +180.

The odds have narrowed some from the first meeting where, around this same time out from the fight, Pacquiao was hovering around -450 to Bradley's +325.

The oddsmakers are pretty confident the fight will not end quickly, with a -325 line on the bout going over the midway point in round 9 and -250 odds on the fight going to a decision.

There are also method of victory lines which currently sit in this order of most likely to least likely per the oddsmakers:

  • Pacquiao by decision +105
  • Bradley by decision +270
  • Pacquiao by stoppage +300
  • Bradley by stoppage +550
  • Draw +2000
