We're at the final regular season week for most fantasy leagues. That means you better be sure you have some good quarterbacks heading into the playoffs for next week. All fantasy owners should be looking at their schedules right now to see if their QBs are someone they are going to use this week. If not, you might want to take a look on the waiver wire for players.
Here are some good matchups for fantasy in the coming weeks:
Jameis Winston, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (owned in 43 percent of leagues)
This one is all about Week 14. Winston gets the New Orleans Saints in Week 14, so he's probably your best bet for a pickup. He probably won't be someone you want to use in Week 15 against the St. Louis Rams or in Week 16 against the Chicago Bears, who have been improving. He also doesn't have a good matchup this week against the Atlanta Falcons.
Tyrod Taylor, Buffalo Bills (owned in 34 percent of leagues)
Like Winston, Taylor has a nice matchup for Week 14. He gets the Philadelphia Eagles, who were just thumped by Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford for five TD passes. Taylor also has good matchups in the other weeks with the Houston Texans in Week 13, Washington in Week 15 and the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16. Taylor is coming off a terrific three-TD game on Sunday, so he should be owned in most leagues right now.
Ryan Tannehill, Miami Dolphins (owned in 67 percent of leagues)
If you need a QB this week, Tannehill could be your guy. He gets a Baltimore Ravens defense that has been struggling against any halfway decent quarterback. Tannehill had himself an nice game against the New York Jets last week with three touchdowns and 351 yards.
He also gets a great matchup against the New York Giants at home for Week 14. If he's sitting on the wire after some mid-year struggles, he should be picked up.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, New York Jets (owned in 23 percent of leagues)
He went off in Week 12 against the Miami Dolphins with four passing TDs and no turnovers. He also has a very nice schedule coming up with the New York Giants in Week 13, the Tennessee Titans in Week 14 and the Dallas Cowboys in Week 15. If your usual quarterback has a tough road ahead, Fitzmagic could be in play to fill in.
Brock Osweiler, Denver Broncos (owned in 18 percent of leagues)
He was great on Sunday night to get the Broncos a win over the New England Patriots. Osweiler has some top-notch weapons, so he potentially could be an impact fantasy quarterback going forward.
He's not someone you'll want to use this week against the San Diego Chargers, but he could be in play against the Oakland Raiders in Week 14 or in Week 15 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
