It's that time of year again: for the seventh straight season, SB Nation's network of 30 team-specific hockey blogs will run through the first round of the NHL Draft.
As we prepare for the real thing, our blogs will act on behalf of their teams and simulate the entire first round in our 2016 NHL Mock Draft.
It begins June 8 with the No. 1 overall pick and will conclude with the 30th overall pick on June 21. Three selections will be announced each day in accordance with the real draft order that we'll see on Friday, June 24, on stage in Buffalo, N.Y.
Trades are allowed in this mock draft. Will any of our teams indulge? Stay tuned to find out.
