If his Instagram stories are to be believed, LeBron James is great at Uno. James, Chris Paul and their spouses played some Uno on Saturday, and James couldn’t help but brag about winning. "Oh, I forgot to mention," James said to his phone. "I’m about to win — again. UNO-ooh-woah!"
"Yo, when I tell you, I cannot lose, dawg," James said in another clip. Meanwhile, Chris Paul rebutted him in the background saying, "You just lost twice! He lost twice!"
Here’s a proposal: If LeBron is as good at Uno as he claims he is on Instagram, let’s see him play a couple games with the Atlanta Hawks, who famously revealed they have Uno rivalries within their roster. In fact, instead of a regular NBA season game, let’s have the Hawks and Cavaliers settle their differences with Uno — each team has two representatives: Kent Bazemore and Dennis Schröder for the Hawks, and James and J.R. Smith for the Cavaliers. And they play it with the Hawks’ ruthless rules: Add more "Draw," "Reverse" and "Skip" cards to the deck, because whoever drops those is a horrible monster.
We, uh, may have made a case for Uno as an actual sport.
