Jadeveon Clowney was all over the place last Sunday when the Houston Texans took on the New England Patriots in the AFC Divisional round. He had Tom Brady shaken the entire game, and even had Brady yelling at referees for calls.
On one specific play where Clowney dragged Brady to the ground, Brady got up and was furious with the lack of a call by officials.
Later, Clowney was flagged for unnecessary roughness, and has been fined $18,231 for that play, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
This is the play that Clowney was not flagged for:
Clowney’s momentum took himself and Brady to the ground, who wasn’t having the no-call.
Brady was so mad that he fell down after initially getting up to have a discussion with the official.
It was after this exchange, that Clowney hit Brady again and was flagged in the fourth quarter.
We should have known it was too good to be true, that Clowney was going to get out of that game with no repercussions.
