A New England Patriots fan demonstrated his undying respect for Tom Brady by getting the quarterback’s face tattooed on his body. Nice, right? Sure, except that the fan had Brady’s face tattooed on his butt.

The world is filled with people who have made regrettable sports-related tattoo decisions. For instance, there’s this Falcons fan who used his tattoo of Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes urinating on a fleur de lis to try to get Roddy White to follow him on Twitter.

This is an interesting spelling of Baltimore in this Ravens-themed tattoo.

This guy lost a bet, and it’s a truly terrible tattoo.
The worst football tattoo of all time. God Bless Tim Tebow but not this tattoo. pic.twitter.com/5NneXlXUUG

And who could forget about Rex Ryan’s tattoo of his wife wearing nothing but a No. 6 Mark Sanchez Jets jersey?
Rex Ryan says Geno Smith was "brutal" at practice 2day. Smith could say the same about Ryan's tattoo. #justsayin pic.twitter.com/vHaQkrlnt3

It’s not sports-themed, but Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler does have a terribly punctuated tattoo.
I don’t think Osweiler intended for it to read “Live life to it is fullest.”
None of these tattoos, however, approach the sheer weirdness of a fan deciding to get Tom Brady’s face tattooed on his butt.
Boston Barber & Tattoo Company, where Mr. I Got Tom Brady’s Face Tattooed On My Ass got his tattoo, has plenty of experience with Patriots-themed body art.
I’m not opposed to sports-themed tattoos in the least. I actually have one. And Tom Brady is one of the best quarterbacks to ever grace the field. He’s fresh off of his fifth career Super Bowl win, and it’s reasonable for New England fans to want to commemorate his success by permanently etching Brady’s face onto some part of their bodies. But getting Tom Brady’s face tattooed on your posterior seems less like fandom and dedication and more like a plain old bad decision.
What’s your most regrettable tattoo, sports-themed or otherwise?
