Martellus Bennett is the most creative player in the NFL, so perhaps it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise when the man behind the Imagination Agency gets artistic letters from young fans (though, wow, somebody wrote a letter!). This one he received from a 12-year-old girl named Lexi Snow is particularly amazing.
Bennett said he was going through old boxes from when he got traded from the Chicago Bears to the New England Patriots and found the letters:
Finally went thru some Chicago Bears boxes after being traded and found this. Thank you Lexi Snow this truly inspired me. Unicorns Foreva!! pic.twitter.com/rFPNpkPMEp

The first letter from Lexi introduces herself, and tells Bennett that he’s her favorite player for the following reasons:
- He’s awesome
- He’s really unique
- He’s a unicorn (he called himself the “black unicorn” while with the Giants in 2012 before joining the Bears)
- He’s madly brilliant
Besides all of the kind words, the drawings and footnotes are the icing on the cake for the letters. She drew Bennett as the black unicorn with his number 83 on his butt, with herself next to him and a pretty important footnote:
She started off her second letter the way I read most people’s tweets:
This one had less drawings and footnotes, but she decided to tell Bennett more about herself, and she’s just letting it all fly:
The best part of the letter was when she told Bennett, “I am really loud and obnoxious.” That’s some great self awareness for a 12-year-old.
It also turns out that the black unicorn is better than the tooth fairy:
She’s also better at drawing than you are. Lexi was a pretty talented 12-year-old.
Sports allegiances are serious matters for most people. Lexi was clearly a huge fan of Marty B’s, who is now with the Packers.
It would be a big deal if a Bears fan switched allegiances to the Packers, but Marty B is so awesome (like a unicorn) that he might just make it happen.
