The Oakland Raiders are moving to Las Vegas in 2019, and quarterback Derek Carr has mixed feelings about it.
“I feel the pain of our fans in Oakland,” Carr said via his Twitter account. “I also see the joy on the faces of our new fans in Las Vegas.”

Carr was born in Fresno and grew up in Bakersfield, Calif., just about four hours south of Oakland. He played college ball at Fresno State.
Khalil Mack agreed with his quarterback.

The Raiders will remain in Oakland and play at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in 2017 and 2018. Owner Mark Davis also said during a press conference after the move to Las Vegas was confirmed that the Raiders will consider remaining in Oakland for the 2019 season.
Carr wasn’t the only Raiders player to react to the move on Twitter. Punter Marquette King was more succinct.
