The ACC's Virginia Tech and Big East's (for now) Rutgers will face off in the Russell Athletic Bowl, Brett McMurphy reports.
The Russell Athletic Bowl typically pits the No. 2 team from the Big East against the No. 3 team from the ACC. Few bowl games have undergone as many name changes as the Russell Athletic Bowl, which has been formerly known as the Sunshine Classic, Blockbuster Bowl, Carquest Bowl, MicronPC Bowl, MicronPC.com Bowl, Visit Florida Tangerine Bowl, Mazda Tangerine Bowl, and Champs Sports Bowl.
