Eintracht Frankfurt are back to their winning ways after a 3-1 victory over Hannover.

Eintracht Frankfurt won impressively over Hannover to remain five points back of leaders Bayern Munich. Even with the loss, Hannover remain on 11 points in a European place.

They jumped out to an early lead after only five minutes when Karim Matmour headed Bastian Oczipka's cross past Ron-Robert Zieler. The doubled their lead in the 18th minute thanks to Sebastian Jung. Stefan Aigner set up the defender perfectly, and Jung beat Zieler from close range.

Frankfurt made things difficult for Hannover, and the visitors didn't look comfortable on the ball throughout the first half. Hannover managed to pull a goal back just after halftime when Mohammed Abdellaoue beat everyone to the ball to poke home a cross from Lars Stindl.

Hannover kept pushing for an equalizer that would never come. Frankfurt made it 3-1 in the dying minutes. Stefano Celozzi sent in a cross that Alexander Meier headed in the back of the net to end the match.
