Nürnberg give up two goals in stoppage time to seal their fourth straight loss.

Freiburg took all of the points in an impressive 3-0 victory over Nürnberg on Saturday afternoon. The loss is Nürnberg's fourth straight after a great start to the season.

The hosts took the lead after 36 minutes thanks to the head of Cedric Makiadi. Jonathan Schmid sent in a cross from the right side. Erik Jendrisek beat everyone to the far post and headed it back across the face of goal to Makiadi who was waiting for the easy header.

Nürnberg battled back in the second half and thought they found the equalizer when Sebastian Polter beat Oliver Baumann, but Mensur Mujdza saved the hosts by clearing the ball off of the line.

The match wasn't decided until stoppage time when Nürnberg defender Timothy Chandler fouled Daniel Caligiuri in the penalty area. The midfielder stepped up to take his own penalty and beat Raphael Schäfer to make it 2-0.

Marco Terrazzino wasn't content with the 2-0 scoreline. Shortly after the restart, Terrazzino smashed a volley from way out that clipped the crossbar before going into the goal.
