Eintracht Frankfurt look to extend their unbeaten run to start the season against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Borussia Mönchengladbach will be looking to finally get their Bundesliga campaign on track when they host unbeaten EIntracht Frankfurt. It's not going to be easy for Gladbach. They've only managed one win this season, but that was all the way back in the first match. With nine goals conceded in the last two matches, Lucien Favre will be hoping that his defense finds the form they had last season. Frankfurt have five wins and one draw on the season, and the draw was a come-from-behind 3-3 shootout with Borussia Dortmund.

Luckily for Gladbach, they're getting over the injury bug that struck the team in recent weeks. Luuk De Jong and Tony Jantschke have recovered from their foot injuries to rejoin the side, and Martin Stranzl returns from his suspension. Alvaro Dominguez also returns to the side after missing their Europa League match midweek against Fenerbahçe after taking a knock to the head in training. The big concern remains Patrick Herrmann. He also missed the Fenerbahçe match after straining his thigh in training. The midfielder may miss the contest.

Frankfurt have had a good run of no injuries to start the season. The only concern is centerback Anderson Bamba. The Brazilian has been under the weather this week, but he is likely to play.

There's no reason to beat around the bush here. De Jong must start scoring goals. Since joining Gladbach for a club record transfer fee, the Dutch striker has only managed two goals in all competitions. Herrmann, Juan Arango, and Granit Xhaka need to figure out a way to get De Jong more involved in the attack, but the onus of actually putting the ball in the back of the net falls squarely on the shoulders of De Jong. He has to produce.

Gladbach are going to have to keep a close eye on Japanese midfielder Takashi Inui. After earning promotion at the end of last season, Frankfurt moved to bring Inui over from Bochum. So far this season, he has three goals and three assists putting him directly involved in one third of their goals. Armin Veh has partnered Inui on the left wing with fullback Bastian Oczipka, and the two have formed a dynamic partnership with the left back contributing another four assists.
