Last year's DFB-Pokal final was fun, but the gods of the draw have decided that Germany's two best teams should meet much earlier in this year's competition. Borussia Dortmund can peg back Bayern Munich a bit on Wednesday, and will be a bit desperate for a win given that they're already out of the Bundesliga title race, along with everyone else that isn't Bayern.
Mats Hummels has a virus and is not in the Dortmund team. He's replaced by Felipe Santana in the starting XI. Kevin Großkreutz gets a start on the wing over 'Kuba' Jakub Blaszczykowski for Der BVB. Franck Ribery is suspended for Bayern and is replaced by Arjen Robben. Daniel van Buyten is preferred to Jerome Boateng in the center of the Bayern defense.
Bayern Munich lineup (4-2-3-1): Manuel Neuer; David Alaba, Dante, Daniel van Buyten, Philipp Lahm; Javi Martinez, Bastian Schweinsteiger; Thomas Müller, Toni Kroos, Arjen Robben; Mario Mandzukic
Borussia Dortmund lineup (4-2-3-1): Roman Weidenfeller; Marcel Schmelzer, Neven Subotic, Felipe Santana, Lukasz Piszczek; Ilkay Gündogan; Kevin Großkreutz, Marco Reus, Mario Götze; Robert Lewandowski
