Kentucky's Ryan Harrow out for Duke game

Kentucky point guard Ryan Harrow will miss the Wildcats' game against Duke on Tuesday.

Kentucky sophomore point guard Ryan Harrow will not play in the Wildcats' game against Duke on Tuesday, due to flu-like symptoms.

Harrow was limited in Kentucky's season opener against Maryland due to the illness. On Monday, Wildcats head coach John Calipari said Harrow has had not practiced since the Maryland game and if he was unable to practice Monday he was not likely to make the trip to Atlanta to face Duke.

After sitting out last season due to transfer requirements, Harrow was expected to take over as the starting point guard this season. He started in the Wildcats' season opener, but was limited to just 10 minutes. He did not score against Maryland, going 0-for-4 from the field.

With Harrow out, the Wildcats will likely turn to junior Jarrod Polson, who scored 10 points in 22 minutes off the bench against Maryland. He also led the Wildcats with three assists.

Kentucky and Duke will play as part of the 2012 State Farm Champions Classic.
