After losing their first game of the season on Saturday to Arizona, the Florida Gators turned their attention to Southeastern Louisiana. The Lions came in to the game with one win, and provided little challenge for Florida, which won 82-43.
In limited minutes due to the score, senior guard Mike Rosario led Florida with 20 points and chipped in six rebounds and four assists. Freshman Michael Frazier II came off the bench to score 12 points.
The Gators defense was overpowering all evening. Southeastern Louisiana had just four assists and shot 29.1 percent from the field. The 43 points came after scoring 40 against North Texas in the team's last game.
Things won't be as easy for Florida on Saturday, when they play Kansas State. The Wildcats are 8-2 this season, with those two losses coming against Michigan and Gonzaga. That will be the team's last game for a week due to the holidays.
