The No. 24 Oklahoma State Cowboys cruised past the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles, 78-42, on Saturday at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, Okla.
Behind guard Phil Forte, the Cowboys jumped out to a 26-6 lead midway through the first half and never looked back. Forte scored eight of those first 26 points, and finished the game with 22 points and six rebounds, while draining six of his eleven three-point attempts.
Four other Cowboys players finished in double figures in scoring, led by forward Kamari Murphy, who had 12 points and five rebounds.
