NCAA basketball rankings: Duke still No. 1 in latest AP poll

The Blue Devils are still No. 1 in the Associated Press poll while Syracuse took a tumble to No. 9.

The Duke Blue Devils are still No. 1 in the Associated Press top 25 while Syracuse dropped six spots after losing to Temple.

Duke collected 63 of the 65 first place votes to remain in the top spot. No. 2 Michigan received the two other first place votes this week. Syracuse and Florida each dropped six spots after losing last week. The Orange dropped from No. 3 to No. 9 after losing to Temple on Saturday. Florida dropped out of the top 10, falling all the way to No. 14 after a 67-61 loss to Kansas State.

While the Gators and Orange dropped, Missouri was the biggest riser of the week. The Tigers broke into the top 10 at No. 7 following their 82-73 win against then No. 10 Illinois. Cincinnati also broke into the top 10 this week, moving up three spots to No. 8.

The biggest fall of the week came from New Mexico who dropped from No. 16 all the way out of the top 25. The Lobos lost their first game of the season on Saturday, losing 70-65 to South Dakota State. North Carolina also dropped out of the top 25.
