The only two ranked teams in the ACC square off on Tobacco Road Saturday afternoon.
The No. 1 Duke Blue Devils beat pretty much everyone under the sun in the early part of the season -- Louisville, Ohio State, Minnesota and Kentucky -- and haven't suffered a loss yet. Mason Plumlee has established himself as the frontrunner for the National Player of the Year award and they've opened ACC play with an 18-point win over Wake Forest and a 28-point demolition of Clemson.
The No. 20 N.C. State Wolfpack, however, have scrapped their way to where they are. Behind C.J. Leslie, Lorenzo Brown and Richard Howell, all of whom are averaging 12 points or more, the Wolfpack entered the season with serious ACC title hopes. An early-season 20-point loss to Oklahoma State is why they're still so low in the rankings -- they also lost to No. 2 Michigan by seven points -- but they are one of the most talented teams in the country. A home win against Duke would put them right back near the Top 10.
Game Date/Time: Saturday, Jan. 12, noon ET
