The New Mexico Lobos made quick work of the Fresno St. Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon, picking up a 72-45 win at University Arena in Albuquerque, N.M.
The Lobos used their size advantage all game long. New Mexico out-rebounded the Bulldogs, 42-21, and forced 18 turnovers. Despite going 2-for-12 from behind the three-point arc, UNM shot 49 percent from the field and held a 17-point lead at halftime.
Sophomore center Alex Kirk led the Lobos with 19 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks. Tony Snell and Cameron Bairstow both had 16 points.
