The No. 22 Michigan State Spartans held off the Nebraska Cornhuskers, 66-56, in Big Ten Conference action on Sunday afternoon at the Jack Breslin Student Events Center in East Lansing, Mich.
Spartans guard Gary Harris, who finished the game 1-for-11 from the floor, knocked down a three-pointer with 1:38 remaining to give his team a four-point lead. The big shot kicked off an 11-2 run by Michigan State, which was aided by the defense forcing turnovers on Nebraska's next two possessions.
